Halloween!

Mommy and Daddy carved great pumpkins this year.   And they didn't even cut themselves this time!

The leaves down by the lake were soooo much fun.

Lo:  Sissy had a dress-up party at her preschool and I was invited, but we had to "waste time" at Starbucks.  I sure look cute with my vanilla steamer!

Ro:  Here we are with my preschool friends.

Lo:  I didn't want to leave after I got there, and the teachers were nice enough to let me stay through lunch!  I was so excited I wet my pants in the car.

Ro:  Then our BFF Ellie came over for trick or treating

Lo:  Don't let my expression fool you; I loved Mommy's costume!

Ro:  What?!?  You mean I can't eat all my candy tonight?!?!

Pumpkin Carving

 Lo:  Mommy got us some cool foam Halloween stickers.  We did some decorating on paper first.

Lo:  Then we set up in the kitchen and made a big mess.  I tried to help.

Lo:  See me helping?

And voila!!!

The Farm (Well, actually our third this season)

Ro/Lo:  Mommy and Daddy took us to another farm this weekend.  Let's start the day off with a hug (in a puddle)

Ro:  And I got to hold a kitten!!!

Ro:  They had this FUN slide that we went down

Again....

And again!!!

Lo:  This corn bin was like tiny rocks.  And you all know how much I love rocks...

Ro:  Sissy, can I try laying in it too?

Ro/Lo:  Time for the hay ride over to the corn maze

Ro:  Which way should we go?

Lo:  This way!!!!

And off we went through the state of Washington

Lo:  I think we need to go this way

Mommy:  Hmmm... let me take a look.  We better ask Daddy.

Lo:  We made it to the bridge!!!

Ro:  I'm skeptical about this.  You really mean I have to ride by myself?  You know how I did on the canoe ride...

Lo:  I'm game!

Lo:  That was fun!  Ro:  I only cried a little.  That was a fun farm, though.

Ballet Time Again!

Lo:  I had my first ballet class this week.  Ro, can you show me what to do?

Ro:  Just go like this, Sissy

Ro:  And reach up high

Ro:  And grand plie

Ro:  And up on your toes

Lo:  How did I do?

Fox Hollow Farms

 Lo:  Mommy took us to the coolest place yesterday.  Fox Hollow Farms.  It had a whole miniature village of furnished houses.  Some even had slides off the second floor!

 Ro:  They had tons of barn kitties!  Here kitty, kitty, kitty...

 Lo:  I'm not sure who's more scared, kitty or me?

 Lo:  Is this how you pet a pigmy goat?

 Ro:  No, Sissy, this is how you do it!

Ro/Lo:  Mommy said we had to pick pumpkins because this weekend we are going to get lost in a corn maze.  What does she mean?

Ro/Lo:  We had a warm lunch in front of the fire pit.

We even got s'mores!!!!!

Ro:  This was the nicest kitty.  He even let me strangle him without biting me.

Ro:  We had the caboose all to ourselves...

Lo:  It went bumpily, bumpily, bump.

Ro/Lo:   And we ended it all with a fun tractor trike ride around the farm.  Can we come back here again?

Remlinger Farm

 Ro:  Mommy took us to Remlinger Farm this weekend.  I got to ride Peaches.  I was a princess.

 Lo:  This is Blueberry...

Ro:  Ellie met us there....

Lo:  We love her!!!

Lo:  Check out this corn ride.  It moved up and down.

 Ro:  I was the only one who could figure out the controls, though...

Going to school!

Ro:  This was on a spinny ride that went around and around...

 Lo:  ... just before Mommy got motion sick...

A miniature ferris wheel!

 And a carousel swing!

Wheee!!!

 Ro:  This was the best part.  A hay maze and hay jump!

Lo:  As you can imagine, we got hay EVERYWHERE!

Ro:  I was braver this time and went on the canoe ride without crying...

 Lo:  I just sang row, row, row your boat and paddled in the water

Ro:  Here I got to drive Mommy in this old fashioned car

Ro/Lo:  Boy, that was a big day.  When can we go again Mommy?
