My First Smiles

Laurel: I may give Mommy heck at night, but I'm now starting to give her some smiles during the day. That makes me all worth it, right?

Still Getting Out and About

Mom and Dad are still taking me to all my favorite places, though now I have to share my stroller with Laurel. We still get to the park, the sand box, and the wading pool. Yippeee!!!

Getting to Know One Another

I'm learning to tolerate this Laurel person. Mommy still reads to me, but sometimes baby Laurel listens too. I like to play with all of her new toys and gadgets. Sometimes, I'll even give her a big kiss. Yeah, she's alright.

Sleep, sleep, sleep but not at night

Lo Lo: I'm still a good daytime sleeper, but by nights are long according to Mommy. Maybe one of these nights I'll give her more than a 3 hour break. :)

Carkeek Park

Mom and Dad took me to another beach on July 4th. I got to play in the sand and see my friends Nate, Q, and Isaac. I wore my favorite sunglasses from Auntie Nisha and looked too cool for school, don't you think?

Discovery Park

Mommy and Daddy took us on our first family "hike" to Discovery Park this weekend. It was low tide and REALLY fun to muck around in the sand. At first the 50-degree water was a little cold, but then I got used to it and just sat right down in it! Fun!

Strike a Pose and Enjoy the Grass

Time at home is fun (though I still like getting out on my walks and outings). Lo Lo and I like to strike poses as though we're super models. Daddy and Grandpa put in some new grass at home, too, which is soft like a carpet.

Lovies, Smoochie Kisses, and Dancing?

Mommy has been trying to give me lots of love since my new sister was born. I still get my undies in a bundle once in a while, though. I'm learning to love my little sister. I like to give her smoochie kisses with an open mouth. Laurel might be OK in my book because I think she likes dancing as much as I do.

We Miss You Grandma and Grandpa!

We sure miss you, Grandma and Grandpa! We loved all the walks, trips to the parks, and cocktail hours with you both. Laurel especially misses Grandma's snoring. :)
