Camping, Take Two (Literally)

 Lo:  Mommy and Daddy took us on ANOTHER camping trip.   They made me promise to "not wake them up."  Hmmm.

Ro:  Sissy, look at me.   I'm just having a little quiet time.

Lo:  We stayed at Deception Pass where we were right on the beach.  Sand!  Rocks!

Ro:  This is my contemplative look

 Lo:  This water is cold!

Ro:  While Sissy "napped,"  Mommy and I went [barefoot] discovering

Ro:  We did some twirling, too

Ro:  Who says you can't climb in a dress?!?  (Daddy, that's who)

Daddy:  OK, girls, this is Firebuilding 101.  First step, build the foundation of your log cabin.

Ro:  This marshmallow reminds me of a wand

Lo:  Is this how you do it?

Ro/Lo:  Mommy shows us a good technique...

Ro/Lo:  After dinner wrestling on the tarp

Ro/Lo:  Snuggling up with Mommy before bed

Lo:  Next morning walk in my jammies and rain boots

Ro/Lo:  Watching Tangled on the way home.  Good trip Mommy and Daddy!

 Lo:  Mommy took us to the Washington State Fair this weekend.  I got to pet a baby hop hop!

Ro:  The little goats were cute, too.  I wasn't scared of them this year!

Lo:  I got to practice milking a cow.  I look like a natural, don't I?

Ro/Lo:  We got our first taste of cotton candy....

Lo:  You might say that I liked it...

Ro:  Mommy suggested we try riding a new ride this year.   This guy sure looks nice...

Ro:  Wait a second, this thing moves and rocks?! ?!?
Lo:  Yeah, Sissy.

Ro:  Moooommmmmyyyyyy!!!  Get me out of here!!!

Lo:  I liked it!

Ro:   I think I'll just stick to the carousel (and the purple horse)...

Roslyn: Doin' It Northern Exposure Style

 Lo:   Mommy and Daddy took us to this place called Roslyn this weekend.  We drove a LONG way on a bumpy road to a hike.  I liked the shade!

 Ro:  Does my hair band look OK with my shoes for this hike?

 Ro/Lo:  We saw lots of little streams....

 ... on our way to Squaw Lake.   How about our hiking outfits?

 Ro:  I didn't forget my binoculars...

 Ro:  But sometimes liked to do it all by myself too

 Ro/Lo:   We had fun at our cabin...  it had a lawn made of rocks!!!

 Lo:   This is the castle I built in the front yard

 Ro:  This is my princess castle

 Lo:  Home for the weekend

 Ro/Lo:  They had a rec center where there was a warm pool!

 Lo:  Like my shades?

 Ro:  I got really good at swimming with my water wings

 Ro/Lo:  We both liked the splash area

 Ro/Lo:  The calm before the storm after dinner

 Ro/Lo:  The storm after the calm

 Ro:  We found a pony to ride in town

 Lo:  It moves!!!

Lo:  And what is vacation without ICE CREAM?!?!?
