Rowan: Mommy and Daddy first made a long list (with multiple columns), then packed for three days, and then loaded the car up to the brim all for a little weekend getaway. I'm glad they did it because it was fun! We stayed in this place with biking and hiking trails and a very fun pool. Laurel didn't go in the pool yet, though. I can't wait until she is old enough to play with me.
Laurel: Mommy keeps trying to put me into not only Rowan's old clothes, but also all the poses she used to do. She says that I'm bigger than Rowan was at this age. Does that mean I'm fat?
Mommy knows how much I love ladybugs and got me this jacket on ebay. Any guesses as to what I'm going to be for Halloween? :)
Laurel: We went on our family's first hike yesterday. Rowan has been hiking a lot already, but this was my first hike. It started out a little rough when Rowan puked all over herself in the back seat. Mom and Dad brought extra clothes and we still went on the trail. I got to dine al fresco at the top. I kinda like this hiking thing.
Rowan: Although Mommy and Daddy got me this new, cool pool, I am almost as happy just playing in a pot of water with measuring cups. I'm an easy kid, right? ;)
Rowan: Mommy is getting really good at multitasking. She can feed Lo Lo, serve as a napping place, and read a book at the same time. Thank goodness, or else we'd need at least two Mommies!
Laurel: Mommy wanted me to post some pictures of just me on here. Sometimes Rowan's personality gets in the way of my cuteness, don't you think?
Rowan: Mommy and Daddy got me a big girl potty. I don't use it yet, but I like to sit on it with my clothes on. To do that, though, I step into the middle where the potty is supposed to go. Mommy says that we need to figure out another way for me to get on the potty.
Laurel: Mommy likes to put me in all these poses that Ro Ro was photographed in before. I like to think that I'm the cuter one! :)
