Decompressing

It was a busy week with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Uncle, and Cousin Keya. Mom and Dad helped me decompress today at the park. I got to do my usual swinging, but I also am now liking to play like a big girl on the rest of the equipment. I can't wait until I can do this on my own!

Birthday

My birthday party was big fun. I woke up and had these fun Elmo balloons waiting for me. Then, I got to rip through all this wrapping paper. I guess the presents were OK, too. Mom and Dad tried to get me to eat this sweet cake stuff, but I thought that I'd just rather play with my sunglasses and kazoo than do that. All in all, it felt pretty good to turn one.

Cousin Keya Arrives

My little cousin Keya arrived in style and even brought me my own pair of shades. We went for a chilly walk down to Greenlake, but she didn't like it very much. Her dad had to sprint her back up to the house for some milk. They tried to sit us on a chair together, but she was crowding me out.

Swimming Lessons

You know, I'm quite the busy girl. Mom takes me to dance lessons and Dad takes me to swimming lessons. It is like a big bath tub! They try to teach me how to get out of the pool and blow bubbles, but I really just like splashing around.

Hanging With Dad

Now that I'm going to be a big sister, I have to start acting like one, right? See how I can sit on the sofa just like Dad?

I Love Me A Bath!

So Mom and Dad finally took away the little bath and I got to have a real adventure in the big girl bath. I had so much fun looking at my reflection in the drain, playing in the faucet, and then I even attempted my downward dog yoga pose. Mom got a little nervous with that one!
